The ARAI Helmets Signet-X in Diamond Black offers a precise fit designed for riders with narrow heads and a more pronounced forehead. Its long oval shape is achieved by increasing the space of the EPS liner front to back while decreasing the side-to-side room, ensuring a snug and comfortable fit that enhances safety and riding confidence. The helmet features the innovative Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism that improves the shell's shape for better aerodynamics and impact absorption. The VAS latch securely holds the shield closed, preventing unexpected openings, and its larger size allows for easy, intuitive operation, even with gloves on. The VAS shield system lowers the pivot point by an average of 24 mm, resulting in a smoother surface around the temple areas that effectively reduces impact energy transfer during a crash.
Constructed with the Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) shell, this helmet combines multiple materials and techniques for optimal performance and affordability. The design includes the QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, which provide excellent airflow management to keep riders comfortable. Even when the front shutter is closed, a side vent continues to serve as an exhaust, promoting continuous air circulation. The FCS® cheek pads are contoured with multiple foam layers supported by a foam “spring,” cradling the face while blocking wind noise for a quieter ride. For added convenience, the helmet features a water-repellent, removable ES chin cover that enhances the helmet’s shape and improves exhaust from the mouth area. The Signet-X comes equipped with the VAS-Max Vision (MV) shield, compatible with the new VAS-MV Pinlock® lens, which is included along with a Pinlock® 120 lens to prevent fogging.
