The ARAI HELMETS Signet-X Helmet in the Flag Italy design offers advanced protection and comfort for motorcycle riders. Featuring a peripherally belted Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) shell, this helmet combines multiple materials and techniques to deliver excellent impact resistance while maintaining affordability. Its long oval shape, created by increasing the space of the EPS liner front to back and decreasing the side-to-side space, provides a tailored fit for riders with a narrow head and more pronounced forehead contours. This design helps ensure a snug, secure fit that enhances both safety and comfort during rides. The helmet includes a VAS-Max Vision shield that accepts the VAS-MV Pinlock? lens, offering clarity and fog resistance in various riding conditions. The larger latch mechanism facilitates intuitive and seamless shield operation, complemented by a de-mist function to maintain clear visibility at all times. The VAS shield mechanism was developed to improve shell shape, lowering the pivot point by an average of 24 mm, which results in a smoother shell surface, especially around the temple area, to better reduce impact energy transfer. The water-repellent, removable ES chin cover enhances the helmet*s egg shape while increasing exhaust in the mouth area for better airflow. FCS? cheek pads, contoured with multiple foam densities supported by a foam *spring,* cradle the face while effectively blocking wind noise. The odor-resistant liner material resists bacteria buildup, helping the helmet stay fresher over time.
