Its ultra-thin 3.5 mm depth logo duct efficiently feeds two central 10 mm intake ports, working effectively at low speeds and in an upright riding posture. The logo duct can be easily opened or closed with gloves via a short-stroke lever located at the top, ensuring quick adjustments without compromising protection. If the lever is not visible and the logo remains in its normal position, the duct is confirmed to be open. Engineered to break away upon impact, this logo duct maintains rider safety while providing functional airflow management. The helmet*s aerodynamic rear spoiler, inspired by the DF-X2 Corsair-X but redesigned for touring, features a one-piece exhaust/spoiler operated by a 3-way switch. It is positioned slightly forward on the shell and draws air efficiently through three ports, smoothing airflow over the helmet sides to enhance stability and reduce buffeting during high-speed overtakes. This design significantly lessens rider fatigue on long rides and maintains optimal helmet performance in various conditions. Constructed with lightweight, durable materials, the shell incorporates Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-cLc2) with an extra layer of super fiber belting, ensuring strength and rigidity in critical areas while maintaining a sleek profile. The Variable Axis System (VAS) allows the visor mounting position to be lowered by approximately 24 mm across both temple areas, promoting a smoother shape to deflect energy more effectively during impacts. The sliding chin vent features three positions*open, midway, and closed*with a large airflow capacity and a replaceable filter, and its actuating mechanism is designed for easy glove use. For communication system integration, the helmet*s outer shell includes a dedicated, unobtrusive mounting area with a small stitched opening inside the neck roll for managing excess wiring.
