The system features dual gas inflators, enabling two separate airbag deployments to maximize safety during an incident. Equipped with three accelerometers and gyroscopes within the Electronic Control Unit (ECU), it monitors crash scenarios with high precision, activating the airbags in just about 52 milliseconds on average. The user-friendly interface includes an LED display on the front, allowing easy navigation through riding modes—ENDURO, RALLY, and STREET—via the display or the Tech-Air® app. Quick-release covers facilitate rapid gas inflator replacement where permitted by local regulations, ensuring minimal downtime.
Powered by an integrated lithium-ion battery, the system offers approximately 30 hours of riding time per charge, with a recharge cycle of around 4 hours. A USB-C port on the LED display simplifies charging, and the system automatically activates upon zipping it up. When not in use, the system can be placed into shipping mode via a dedicated switch, disconnecting the battery for safe transportation. The electronic components and airbags are fully removable, allowing for easy cleaning of the protection jacket. Designed to meet FIM Cross Country Rally standards, this system guarantees reliable protection with dual inflators and full coverage for the chest, back, shoulders, and neck, providing peace of mind during demanding off-road adventures.
