The ZTechnik VStream Windscreen Touring Clear, model Z2492, is designed to improve wind management for select BMW motorcycles. Its advanced V-shaped profile and dimensional contours redirect the wind vortex away from the rider’s helmet, creating a quieter riding environment that also benefits the passenger.
Made from Quantum hard-coated polycarbonate, this clear windscreen provides clarity and strength. Compared with acrylic materials, the Quantum polycarbonate combination offers 30 times greater abrasion resistance, improved UV life and chemical resistance, enhanced optical definition, and superior resistance to cracking and impacts.
This windscreen fits the 2008–2012 BMW F650GS and the 2012 BMW F800GS Trophy, 2012 BMW F800GS Triple Black, and 2013–2015 BMW F800GS Adventure. The manufacturer part number is Z2492, and the vendor part number is 562-09968. ZTechnik covers the windscreen with a 3-year warranty against breakage.
