The ZTechnik Z5403 Clear Headlight Guard is designed for the 2018–2019 BMW R1200GS and R1200GS Adventure, as well as the 2020–2022 BMW R1250GS and R1250GS Adventure. The guard is thermoformed to match the contours of the headlight and wraps around the light for a precise appearance.
Manufactured from tough 3.00 mm polycarbonate, this clear guard features ZTechnik's Quantum® hard coating. The coating provides 10 times more strength and 30 times more scratch resistance than acrylic guards, helping protect the headlight from flying debris. Crystal-clear optics are designed not to distort or reduce the light beam.
The guard attaches to the frame cover using marine-grade Velcro®. Its clear finish preserves the appearance of the motorcycle while adding a durable layer of headlight protection. Manufacturer part number: Z5403. Vendor part number: Z5403.
