Protect the engine heads and valve covers on select BMW R1250 motorcycles with the ZTechnik Z7106-002 black engine guards. Constructed from 16-gauge steel, these guards feature an electrophoretic coating applied inside and out to help eliminate rust and corrosion. The guards attach to the engine mounts rather than the engine covers, providing protection without mounting directly to the covers.
Integrated brackets on each guard provide mounting points for accessory lights, video cameras, or other accessories. The design maintains clearance for oil changes and valve cover access, so the guards do not need to be removed for routine maintenance. Mounting hardware and easy-to-follow installation instructions are included.
This engine guard pair fits the 2019 BMW R1250GS, 2019 BMW R1250RT, 2019 BMW R1250R, 2020 BMW R1250R, 2020 BMW R1250GS, 2020 BMW R1250RT, 2021 BMW R1250GS, 2021 BMW R1250R, 2022 BMW R1250RT, and 2022 BMW R1250R. Manufacturer part number: Z7106-002. Vendor part number: Z7106-002. These guards are not compatible with ZTechnik exhausts or aftermarket exhaust headers because those exhaust systems do not allow installation of the O2 sensor.
