The WORKS 10-148 Skid Plate is designed specifically for 1988–1997 Kawasaki KX500 motorcycles. It uses a Unique Rubber Isolator Mounting System (RIMS) that allows the frame’s flex and rigidity properties to perform as originally designed by the OEM. The plate covers and protects the frame rails without extending beyond them.
CNC-machined and formed from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, this skid plate is built for a precise application-specific fit. CNC-machined aluminum brackets and quality hardware provide secure mounting. A pre-cut oil drain access hole allows oil changes without removing the skid plate.
