The WORKS 10-040 skid plate is designed specifically for Honda CR500R motorcycles. It uses a Unique Rubber Isolator Mounting System (RIMS) to allow frame flex and rigidity properties to perform as the O.E.M. designed. The skid plate is formed and CNC-machined from aircraft grade 6061-T6 aluminum for a model-specific design and fit.
The plate covers and protects the frame rails without extending beyond them. A pre-cut oil drain access hole allows oil changes without removing the skid plate. CNC-machined aluminum brackets and quality hardware provide secure mounting. This product is made in the USA.
