The Vertex Pistons VTK24212A-2 85cc A piston kit is designed for select KTM 85 SX, KTM 85 SXS and Husqvarna TC85 applications. Its exact-fit A piston is matched to the cylinder bore to support power and performance while helping reduce blow-by and oil consumption. The kit includes the piston, rings, wrist pin and circlips required for installation.

The piston skirt features a molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) coating intended to promote faster break-in and increased piston life. The piston is also heat treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle.

Fitment includes the 2010 KTM 85 SX (17/14), 2010 KTM 85 SX (19/16), 2011 KTM 85 SX (17/14), 2012 KTM 85 SX (17/14), 2013 KTM 85 SX (17/14), 2013 KTM 85 SX (19/16), 2014 KTM 85 SX (17/14), 2012 KTM 85 SXS, 2013 KTM 85 SXS, 2014 KTM 85 SXS and 2014 Husqvarna TC85 17/14.
