- Skirts are coated with a hi-tech molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) for faster break-in and increased piston life
- Heat treated with T-5 hardening and tempering cycle
The Vertex Pistons 23429CD cast replica piston kit is designed for select KTM 50 SX and 50 SX Mini powersports applications. The kit uses an exact-fit piston matched to the cylinder bore to help maximize power and performance while reducing blow-by and oil consumption.
Each kit includes the piston, piston rings, wrist pin and circlips required for installation. The piston skirts feature a molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) coating intended to support faster break-in and increased piston life. The piston is also heat treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle.
This kit fits the 2009 KTM 50 SX, 2009 KTM 50 SX Mini, 2010 KTM 50 SX, 2010 KTM 50 SX Mini, 2011 KTM 50 SX, 2011 KTM 50 SX Mini, 2012 KTM 50 SX, 2012 KTM 50 SX Mini, 2013 KTM 50 SX and 2013 KTM 50 SX Mini. Manufacturer part number: 23429CD. Vendor part number: 23429CD. This product is not CARB approved.
