- Skirts are coated with a hi-tech molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) for faster break-in and increased piston life
- Heat treated with T-5 hardening and tempering cycle
The Vertex Pistons 22991A 105cc Cast Replica Piston Kit is designed for select KTM powersports applications. Exact-fit A, B, or C piston sizing is intended to match the cylinder bore, helping maximize power and performance while reducing blow-by and oil consumption. The kit includes the piston, rings, wrist pin, and circlips required for installation.
The piston skirts feature a molybdenum disulphide (MoS2) coating to support faster break-in and increased piston life. The piston is also heat treated using a T-5 hardening and tempering cycle. Manufacturer part number: 22991A. Vendor part number: 22991A.
Fitment includes 2004–2009 KTM 105 SX, 2008–2009 KTM 105 XC, and 2008–2009 KTM 85 XC models. This product is not CARB approved, and CARB acknowledgement is required.
