The Twin Air Pre-Oiled Air Filter, manufacturer part number 152226X and vendor part number 715-2226X, is designed to provide dependable engine protection and efficient airflow for select Yamaha off-road motorcycles. This replacement foam filter arrives pre-oiled with Twin Air biodegradable foam filter oil, developed exclusively for Twin Air by Chevron Texaco. The filter oil has been independently tested by a leading engineering laboratory in Germany and is formulated to support reliable filtration in demanding riding conditions.
The dual-layer foam construction captures airborne dirt, grime, and sand before they reach the engine. A coarse open-pore outer layer traps larger contaminants, while the fine open-pore inner layer captures smaller particles without restricting necessary air passage. The adhesive is designed to withstand repeated cleaning, helping maintain the filter’s integrity through regular service intervals. Its compact design provides increased air space and circulation around the filter compared with the stock-style configuration.
Fitment includes the 2023 Yamaha YZ450F; 2024 Yamaha YZ250F, YZ450F, YZ450FX, and WR450F; and 2025 Yamaha YZ250F, YZ250FX, YZ450F, WR250F, and WR450F. Verify the motorcycle model and year before installation. The Twin Air brand and 152226X manufacturer part number provide a dependable replacement solution for riders who need consistent filtration performance in motocross, off-road, and recreational riding applications.
