The Twin Air Air Filter, manufacturer part number 152383 and vendor part number 152383, is designed for dependable filtration and improved airflow in 1999-2004 Yamaha TT-R225 motorcycles. Its thick, flat foam sealing ring provides maximum contact with the airbox while functioning as a breathable gasket, helping maintain a secure seal without restricting air passage.
The filter uses a dual-layer open-pore foam design. The coarse outer foam captures airborne dirt, grime, and sand, while the fine inner foam provides a second filtration stage for trapping smaller particles. This construction helps protect the engine from harmful contaminants while supporting consistent air circulation during off-road and recreational riding.
Twin Air uses an exclusively formulated adhesive that withstands repeated cleaning, including cleaning with harsh solvents or gasoline when properly used according to the manufacturer’s recommendations. The filter is slightly smaller than the stock filter to provide additional air space around the element and promote improved circulation inside the airbox. This replacement air filter fits 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004 Yamaha TT-R225 models.
