The Twin Air Air Filter, manufacturer part number 152902 and vendor part number 715-2902, is designed for dependable filtration and improved airflow on select Yamaha sport ATVs. Its dual-layer foam construction helps protect the engine from airborne dirt, grime, and sand while supporting consistent air passage for responsive performance.
Built with a thick, flat, greaseless sealing ring, this Twin Air filter creates maximum contact with the airbox and functions as a breathable gasket. The coarse open-pore outer foam captures larger contaminants, while the fine open-pore inner foam traps smaller particles without unnecessarily restricting airflow. The filter is slightly smaller than the stock filter to provide additional air space and improve circulation around the filter element.
Feature: Twin-layer open-pore foam construction provides staged filtration for coarse and fine particles.
Feature: Greaseless foam sealing ring promotes a secure, breathable airbox seal.
Feature: Adhesive is formulated to withstand repeated cleaning, including exposure to harsh solvents or gasoline.
Feature: Slightly smaller profile than the stock filter helps increase air space and circulation.
This Twin Air replacement air filter fits the 2011 Yamaha YFZ450X SE and the 2009–2016 Yamaha YFZ450R, including the 2009 Yamaha YFZ450R SE. Confirm the model year and vehicle configuration before installation. For best results, follow the recommended cleaning and maintenance procedures for Twin Air foam filters.
