The Twin Air Air Filter 152226 is designed for reliable off-road engine protection and improved airflow in select Yamaha motorcycle and competition models. Its dual-layer foam construction captures airborne dirt, grime, and sand while supporting consistent air passage to the engine. The greaseless sealing ring creates broad contact with the airbox, helping provide a dependable breathable gasket without the need for additional sealing grease.
Coarse open-pore outer foam traps larger contaminants, while the fine open-pore inner foam captures smaller particles before they can reach the intake system. The filter is manufactured slightly smaller than the stock filter to increase air space and circulation around the element. Twin Air's exclusively formulated adhesive is engineered to withstand repeated cleaning, including cleaning with harsh solvents or gasoline, helping extend service life when properly maintained.
Fitment: The Twin Air 152226 air filter fits the 2023 Yamaha YZ450F; 2024 Yamaha YZ250F, YZ450F, YZ450FX, and WR450F; 2025 Yamaha YZ250F, YZ250FX, YZ450F, WR250F, and WR450F. Manufacturer and vendor part number: 152226. Brand: Twin Air. Verify model year and application before installation.
