The Twin Air 154218FRX replacement fire-resistant air filter is pre-oiled with Twin Air biodegradable foam filter oil, developed exclusively for Twin Air by Chevron Texaco. Its dual-layer foam construction is designed to help protect the engine from airborne dirt, grime and sand while maintaining air passage through the filter.

The coarse open-pore outer foam captures larger contaminants, while the fine open-pore inner foam acts as a second filtration layer for smaller particles. The filter adhesive is designed to withstand repeated cleaning, and its smaller-than-stock design increases air space and circulation around the filter.
