The Twin Air 152221 Air Filter is designed to provide dependable engine protection and efficient airflow for select Yamaha off-road motorcycles. Its dual-layer foam construction captures airborne dirt, grime, sand, and fine particles before they can reach the engine, while maintaining strong air passage for consistent performance. The thick, flat foam sealing ring creates maximum contact with the airbox and functions as a breathable gasket without requiring grease.
The coarse open-pore outer foam catches larger contaminants, while the fine open-pore inner foam provides a second filtration stage for smaller particles. Twin Air uses an exclusive adhesive formulated to withstand repeated cleaning, including exposure to harsh solvents or gasoline, helping the filter maintain its construction through regular service. The filter is slightly smaller than the stock design to increase air space and improve circulation around the filter.
This Twin Air air filter fits the 2018 Yamaha YZ450F; 2019 Yamaha YZ250F, YZ450F, YZ450FX, and WR450F; and 2020 Yamaha YZ250F, YZ250FX, YZ450F, WR250F, and WR450F. Verify your motorcycle model and year before installation. Manufacturer part number 152221 and vendor part number 715-2221 identify this replacement air filter.
