The Twin Air 151001 Air Filter is designed as a high-performance replacement filter for 1986–1995 Kawasaki KX60 models. Its thick, flat foam sealing ring provides broad contact with the airbox, creating a dependable, greaseless seal while supporting efficient airflow through the intake system. The filter is slightly smaller than the stock unit to promote additional air space and improved circulation around the filter.
Built with a two-stage open-pore foam design, the Twin Air filter helps protect the engine from airborne dirt, grime, sand, and fine particles. The coarse outer foam captures larger contaminants, while the fine inner foam provides a second filtration stage without unnecessarily restricting air passage. This construction supports consistent intake performance in demanding riding conditions.
The adhesive used in the Twin Air 151001 filter is formulated to withstand repeated cleaning, including cleaning with harsh solvents or gasoline when proper service procedures are followed. This makes the filter suitable for riders who regularly maintain their Kawasaki KX60. Manufacturer part number 151001 and vendor part number 715-1001 identify this replacement air filter for the listed applications.
