The SW-MOTECH TRAX ADV Aluminum Case System is a durable, motorcycle-specific luggage solution for BMW R 1200 GS and R 1250 GS models from 2012 through 2024. This black case system includes one TRAX ADV M case and one TRAX ADV L case, providing 82 liters of combined storage for commuting, touring, off-road travel, and extended adventure rides. The matched case sizes and carrier design follow the motorcycle’s rear profile and exhaust system for a balanced, integrated fit.
Each TRAX ADV case is constructed from 0.06-inch aluminum with robot-guided welding and self-piercing rivets to help prevent water and dust intrusion. A black powder-coated finish protects against oxidation and abrasion while remaining easy to clean. Completely removable lids use quick-release fasteners and include four integrated tie-down points for securing a tent, dry bag, or other gear. Lid limiters improve stability when carrying additional luggage, while replaceable cover gaskets support long-term serviceability. Reinforced plastic corner caps and chamfered side profiles provide additional protection and improved cornering clearance.
The included PRO Side Carrier is made from 0.10-inch steel and shaped to sit close to the motorcycle. It mounts to the original mounting points and can be fully removed using robust quick-release fasteners. Functional mounting holes support accessories such as the RotopaX system. The included adapter kit allows TRAX or NANUK side cases to be secured to the PRO Side Carrier on either side.
