The SW-MOTECH PRO Tank Ring provides a secure, paintwork-protecting mounting point for PRO tank bags on Yamaha MT-07 motorcycles from 2020 through 2024. This bike-specific adapter ring installs directly onto the tank neck for a precise fit, allowing the tank bag to remain suspended above the motorcycle’s painted surface rather than resting on the tank.
The integrated QUICK-LOCK system uses Fidlock magnetic guidance to help position the bag and snap the locking mechanism firmly into place. A pull strap releases the bag quickly with one movement, while the tank lid remains accessible for convenient refueling. The supplied sliding top ring arrives pre-assembled with a guide rail on the underside of the tank bag. Because the ring can be aligned and secured to the preferred angle, installation does not require drilling the bag. Its position can also be adjusted when transferring the tank bag to another compatible motorcycle.
Constructed from robust fiberglass-reinforced plastic, the ring features high-precision locking geometry to help keep the PRO tank bag securely attached during riding. The kit includes the tank ring, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. This SW-MOTECH tank ring is compatible with PRO series tank bags only and cannot be combined with EVO tank bags.
