The SW-Motech PRO Tank Ring is a bike-specific mounting solution for attaching compatible SW-Motech PRO tank bags to select Suzuki GS and V-Strom motorcycles from 2014 through 2026. The ring installs directly onto the motorcycle’s tank neck and provides a secure, paintwork-protecting connection without allowing the tank bag to rest on the fuel tank. The tank lid remains fully accessible for convenient refueling.
Its QUICK-LOCK mechanism uses Fidlock magnetic guidance to help position the bag and snap it firmly into place. The precision locking geometry is made from robust fiberglass-reinforced plastic to keep the tank bag stable during riding. A pull strap provides quick release, allowing the PRO tank bag to be removed in one smooth motion.
The sliding top ring arrives pre-assembled on the tank bag with a guide rail, so drilling is not required. The upper ring can be aligned to the preferred angle and secured to the underside of the bag. This adjustable design also makes it possible to reposition the ring when moving the tank bag to another compatible motorcycle. The kit includes the tank ring, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. This PRO-series tank ring is not compatible with SW-Motech EVO tank bags.
