The SW-Motech PRO Tank Ring is a bike-specific mounting solution for attaching compatible PRO tank bags to select KTM motorcycles from 2017 through 2024. Part number TRT.00.787.21100/B is designed for a precise fit on the motorcycle’s tank neck while keeping the tank bag elevated from the painted surface. This paintwork-protecting design helps prevent contact between the bag and fuel tank during everyday riding.
The tank ring uses SW-Motech’s QUICK-LOCK system with a robust, fiberglass-reinforced plastic construction and high-precision locking geometry. Fidlock magnetic guidance helps position the bag and allows the locking mechanism to snap securely into place. The sliding top ring arrives pre-assembled on the tank bag with a guide rail, so drilling is not required. The ring can be aligned to the preferred angle and secured in place, making it possible to adjust the setup when moving the tank bag to another compatible motorcycle.
Installation is straightforward using the included mounting hardware and instructions. Once installed, the PRO tank bag attaches in one step and can be removed quickly using the pull straps. The motorcycle’s fuel tank lid remains accessible for convenient refueling without removing the tank ring. This kit includes the bike-specific tank ring, mounting material, and installation instructions. SW-Motech PRO tank rings are not compatible with EVO tank bags.
