Designed for a precise fit at the tank neck, this adapter ring allows the tank bag to remain elevated above the motorcycle’s paintwork while preserving normal access to the fuel filler cap.
The ring includes SW-Motech’s QUICK-LOCK locking mechanism with magnetic guidance powered by Fidlock technology. The magnets help position the bag, while the robust fiberglass-reinforced plastic construction and high-precision locking geometry hold it firmly in place during riding. The included sliding top ring arrives pre-assembled with a guide rail, so the tank bag does not require drilling. Its position can be adjusted to achieve the correct angle before tightening.
Installation is straightforward: mount the bike-specific adapter ring to the tank neck, align the PRO tank bag, and press it into place. A pull strap releases the bag quickly with one movement, making refueling convenient and allowing the tank lid to open normally. The system can also be adjusted when transferring the tank bag to another compatible motorcycle. This kit includes the tank ring, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. The SW-Motech PRO Tank Ring is not compatible with EVO tank bags.
