The SW-Motech PRO Tank Ring provides a secure, paintwork-friendly mounting solution for PRO tank bags on BMW G650 motorcycles from 2011 through 2015. This bike-specific adapter ring mounts to the motorcycle’s tank neck and positions the tank bag above the fuel tank, helping prevent contact with the painted surface. The tank lid remains accessible for convenient refueling without removing the mounting hardware.
The QUICK-LOCK system uses a precision-molded, fiberglass-reinforced plastic locking mechanism and Fidlock magnetic guidance to help align the bag and snap it firmly into place. The sliding top ring arrives pre-assembled on the tank bag’s guide rail, so the bag does not require drilling. Its position can be adjusted and secured to achieve the correct angle, and it can be repositioned when transferring the tank bag to another compatible motorcycle.
Installation is straightforward using the included bike-specific mounting piece, tank ring, mounting hardware, and instructions. Once installed, the PRO tank bag attaches in one simple step and can be released quickly using the pull straps. The durable locking geometry is designed to keep the bag stable during riding while allowing easy removal when needed.
