The SW-Motech PRO Tank Ring provides a secure, bike-specific mounting solution for PRO tank bags on BMW F 800 motorcycles from 2006 through 2019. Designed for a precise fit at the tank neck, this adapter ring uses a robust fiberglass-reinforced plastic construction and high-precision locking geometry to keep the tank bag firmly attached during everyday riding.
The QUICK-LOCK system uses magnetic guidance powered by Fidlock technology to help position the bag and snap the locking mechanism securely into place. The sliding top ring arrives pre-assembled on the tank bag’s guide rail, so the bag does not require drilling. Its position can be adjusted and tightened to achieve the correct angle, making it possible to fine-tune the setup or adapt the bag when moving it to another compatible motorcycle.
Installation is straightforward: mount the bike-specific ring to the tank neck, align the PRO tank bag, and lock it into place in one step. Pull straps provide a quick release for convenient removal, while the tank lid remains accessible for easy refueling. Because the tank bag is supported above the painted tank surface, the system helps protect the motorcycle’s paintwork. This kit includes the tank ring, mounting piece, mounting hardware, and installation instructions. It is compatible with SW-Motech PRO tank bags only; PRO tank rings cannot be combined with EVO tank bags.
