The SW-Motech PRO Tank Ring provides a secure, paintwork-friendly mounting point for compatible SW-Motech PRO tank bags on select BMW and Kawasaki motorcycles from 1993 through 2016. This bike-specific adapter ring mounts directly to the tank neck for a precise fit and allows the fuel tank lid to open normally for convenient refueling. Because the tank bag is supported above the motorcycle’s painted surface, the system helps prevent contact-related paint damage.
The QUICK-LOCK mechanism uses a robust, fiberglass-reinforced plastic construction with precision locking geometry to keep the tank bag firmly secured during riding. Fidlock magnetic guidance helps position the bag and snaps the locking mechanism into place, allowing the bag to be attached in one simple step. Integrated pull straps provide a quick release, so the PRO tank bag can be removed easily when needed.
The sliding top ring arrives pre-assembled on the tank bag with its guide rail, eliminating the need to drill the bag. The ring can be aligned to the preferred angle on the underside of the bag and tightened once the correct position is established. This adjustment also allows the tank bag to be transferred to another compatible motorcycle and repositioned as needed.
