The SW-Motech PRO Tank Ring Adapter is designed for BMW motorcycles with tanks without existing filler-cap screws. This bike-specific mounting solution replaces the factory-installed tank filler and provides a secure attachment point for compatible SW-Motech PRO tank bags. The adapter is engineered for a precise fit around the tank neck while allowing the fuel lid to open normally for convenient refueling.
The PRO tank ring uses SW-Motech’s QUICK-LOCK mechanism with Fidlock magnetic guidance to help position the bag and snap the locking system firmly into place. A reinforced plastic construction and high-precision locking geometry help keep the tank bag securely mounted during riding. Pull straps allow the bag to be released quickly with one movement, while the tank bag remains elevated from the motorcycle’s painted tank to help protect the finish.
The sliding top ring is supplied pre-assembled on the tank bag’s guide rail, so the bag does not require drilling. The upper ring can be aligned to the appropriate position and tightened for the best fit. This adjustment also allows the same PRO tank bag to be configured when moving it between compatible motorcycles. Installation hardware and instructions are included. This tank ring is compatible with SW-Motech PRO series tank bags only and cannot be combined with EVO tank bags.
