The carrier features newly developed, robust quick-release fasteners that allow the complete system to be removed efficiently when the bike is used without luggage. Adapter kits are required when installing aluminum cases from SW-MOTECH or other manufacturers, AERO ABS side cases, or SysBags with adapter plates. For a permanent installation, the supplied quick-release fasteners can be replaced with standard M8 hardware.
