The SW-MOTECH PRO Side Carrier is a durable luggage mounting solution designed specifically for the Ducati DesertX. Manufactured from robust 2.5 mm steel with an optimized shape, this black carrier provides a secure, close-to-the-bike fit while preserving the motorcycle’s clean profile. The left/right configuration supports mounting luggage on either side of the motorcycle and uses the original mounting points for straightforward installation.
The carrier features newly developed, highly robust quick-release fasteners, allowing it to be removed when luggage support is not needed. It securely accommodates SW-MOTECH TRAX and AERO cases, as well as SysBag models equipped with adapter plates, including the SysBag 15, SysBag 30, and SysBag WP L. Functional mounting openings also support compatibility with the RotopaX system and other accessories. Mounting hardware and installation instructions are included.
Adapter kits are available separately for Givi, Kappa, Krauser, and Shad cases. Additional adapter kits are required for aluminum cases from SW-MOTECH and other manufacturers, AERO ABS side cases, and SysBags with adapter plates. For riders who prefer a permanent installation, the supplied quick-release fasteners can be replaced with standard M8 hardware.
