The SW-MOTECH PRO Side Carrier provides a secure, close-fitting mounting system for luggage on select BMW adventure motorcycles. Manufactured from durable 2.5 mm steel with an optimized shape, this left- and right-side carrier is designed for the BMW R 1200 GS, R 1200 GS Adventure, and R 1250 GS Adventure. Its precise fit uses the motorcycle’s original mounting points, helping maintain a clean appearance while providing dependable support for touring and adventure luggage.
The carrier features newly developed, robust quick-release fasteners that allow the system to be removed efficiently when side luggage is not required. It is compatible with SW-MOTECH TRAX and AERO cases, as well as SysBags equipped with adapter plates, including the SysBag 15, SysBag 30, and SysBag WP L. Numerous functional mounting openings support accessories such as the RotopaX system. Adapter kits are available separately for cases from Givi, Kappa, Krauser, and Shade.
Additional adapter kits are required when mounting aluminum cases from SW-MOTECH or other manufacturers, SW-MOTECH AERO ABS side cases, or SysBags with adapter plates. For permanent installation, the quick-release fasteners may be replaced with standard M8 hardware.
