The SW-MOTECH Legend Gear Tank Strap System with LA1 Accessory Bag provides a practical, retro-inspired luggage solution for compatible BMW motorcycles from 2014 through 2023. Manufacturer and vendor part number BC.TRS.07.512.50100 includes the bike-specific Legend Gear SLA tank strap, LA1 accessory bag, and T-Lock holder with MOLLE adapter. The strap is designed for secure alignment on the motorcycle while retaining the classic appearance of the Legend Gear luggage range.
The SLA tank strap uses adjustable loops to support flexible attachment of compatible Legend Gear accessory bags, including the LA1, LA2, LA3, and LA8. The included LA1 bag features a dependable retaining-loop and security-strap mounting system, hook-and-loop closure, and durable construction using napalon synthetic leather and waxed canvas. Its MOLLE-compatible design allows additional fastening options and works with a broad selection of Legend Gear luggage, including LR1 and LR2 tail bags, the LR3 messenger bag, LT1 and LT2 tank bags, LS1 and LS2 saddle bags, LC1 and LC2 side bags, the SLS saddle bag strap, SLA tank straps, holster accessories, and the Drybag 700 tail bag.
For an alternative tank-bag setup, the compact Legend Gear LT1 can attach to most steel fuel tanks with magnets. To help preserve the cotton fabric against weather exposure, SW-MOTECH recommends periodically applying a commercially available wax waterproofing treatment, such as Fjällräven wax, particularly after intensive cleaning. The included plastic T-Lock holder and MOLLE adapter are designed for universal MOLLE-system use and come with mounting instructions.
