The S&S Cycle Super E Carburetor Kit, model 11-0406, is designed for 1979–1985 Harley-Davidson XLH1000 Ironhead Sportster models. The kit includes a Super E carburetor assembly, manifold, seals and clamps for a stock-height engine, teardrop air cleaner kit, mounting hardware, gaskets, seals, hoses and instructions. It is designed for engines up to 100 cubic inches and uses a 1 7/8-inch bore.
An adjustable enrichment starting system provides starting control without restricting airflow like a conventional choke. The carburetor also features an O-ring-sealed idle mixture screw to increase airflow, four fuel delivery ports for improved throttle response and an adjustable accelerator pump.
