This aftermarket starter is constructed with longer-life bearings than the OEM design. It uses a double-sealed ball bearing on the output shaft, with the output shaft seal positioned outside the bearing. This design helps protect the bearing from damaging water entry and allows the sealed ball bearing to be replaced.
