The RICK'S MOTORSPORT ELECTRIC Hot Shot Rectifier/Regulator, model 14-138H, is a direct OE replacement designed for 2002–2008 VTX1800 applications. It is made with MOSFET technology and engineered with a 14-volt voltage set point, plus or minus 0.2 volts, to support the specified charging-system requirements.
This rectifier/regulator is lithium-ion compatible and is intended for use with lithium-ion batteries. It is not for use with standard lead-acid batteries. The manufacturer part number and vendor part number are both 14-138H.
