The Regina Chain and Sprocket Kit is designed for Suzuki DR-Z400SM motorcycles from model years 2005 through 2020. This complete replacement set includes a heat-treated front sprocket, an induction-hardened rear sprocket, and a precut Regina Z-ring chain for convenient installation by professional dealers or experienced motorcycle owners. The kit uses OEM gearing to help preserve the motorcycle’s intended acceleration, cruising behavior, and overall drivetrain performance.
The included Regina high-performance Z-ring chain features gold outer plates and Z44 sealing rings. This sealing design helps retain lubricant within the chain joints while limiting the entry of dirt and moisture, supporting improved wear life and dependable operation. The chain is supplied with a rivet-type master link for secure assembly when installed with the appropriate riveting tool and according to the motorcycle manufacturer’s service procedures.
Both sprockets are manufactured from high-quality steel for strength and durability in demanding street and supermoto applications. The front sprocket is heat treated, while the rear sprocket is induction hardened to help resist tooth wear and maintain consistent chain engagement. The Regina brand and manufacturer part number 135ZRE/110KSU036 identify this application-specific kit. Verify the motorcycle model, year, gearing, and existing drivetrain condition before installation, and replace worn or damaged related components as needed.
