Upgrade the timing system of your Honda CBR1000RR with the PSR Cam Chain Tensioner, manufacturer part number 03-02005-29. This precision replacement is CNC machined from billet aluminum for dependable strength and consistent operation. It replaces the original automatic hydraulic tensioner and provides a reliable solution for riders addressing timing-chain noise, tensioner failure, or timing-related concerns.
The PSR cam chain tensioner helps prevent the timing chain from becoming over-tensioned, reducing the risk of premature engine wear associated with hydraulic tensioner operation. Its adjustable mechanical design allows proper chain tension to be set during installation and service, helping maintain accurate cam timing and smooth engine performance. Professional installation and adjustment according to the motorcycle manufacturer’s service procedures are recommended.
Designed for direct fitment on select Honda sport motorcycles, this PSR tensioner fits the 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 Honda CBR1000RR.
