Upgrade the cam chain tensioning system on your BMW motorcycle with the PSR Cam Chain Tensioner, manufacturer part number 09-02000-29. CNC machined from billet aluminum, this precision-manufactured component replaces the factory automatic or hydraulic tensioner with a manually adjustable design intended to provide consistent cam chain control.
The PSR 09-02000-29 helps address timing issues and cam chain rattling that can result from automatic tensioner failure. It also helps reduce the risk of excessive timing chain tension and premature engine wear associated with hydraulic tensioner operation. Proper installation and adjustment are essential, and the tensioner should be set according to the motorcycle manufacturer’s service procedures or qualified technician recommendations.
This cam chain tensioner is designed for fitment on select BMW S1000-series motorcycles, including the 2010-2014 BMW S1000RR, 2014-2016 BMW S1000R, and 2015-2016 BMW S1000XR. Verify your motorcycle’s year, model, and engine configuration before ordering to confirm compatibility. The PSR brand and 09-02000-29 part number provide a reliable reference for replacement or performance-oriented maintenance applications.
