The PSR Cam Chain Tensioner, Part Number 07-02004-29, is a precision-engineered replacement for the factory automatic or hydraulic tensioner used on select Yamaha YZF-R6 models. CNC machined from billet aluminum, this tensioner is designed to provide reliable, adjustable control of cam chain tension for performance-minded street and track applications.
Replacing a worn or failed automatic tensioner can help prevent out-of-time conditions and reduce cam chain rattling associated with tensioner failure. The PSR design also helps eliminate excessive cam chain tension that may contribute to premature engine wear. Its durable construction and direct replacement design make it a practical upgrade for riders seeking consistent cam timing and dependable engine operation.
