The PSR Cam Chain Tensioner is a precision replacement for the factory automatic or hydraulic tensioner used on select Kawasaki ZX-14R motorcycles. Manufactured from CNC-machined billet aluminum, this tensioner is designed to provide a dependable solution for riders and technicians addressing timing chain noise, tensioner-related timing concerns, or premature engine wear.
By replacing the original hydraulic-style tensioner, the PSR 04-02009-29 helps reduce the risk of timing chain rattling and timing issues associated with automatic tensioner failure. Its manually adjustable design allows the timing chain tension to be set according to the application and maintenance requirements, helping prevent excessive tension that may contribute to accelerated engine wear.
