The PSR Cam Chain Tensioner, part number 03-02003-29, is a manually adjustable replacement for the factory automatic hydraulic tensioner used on select Honda CBR600RR motorcycles. CNC machined from billet aluminum, it is designed to provide dependable cam chain control and help maintain accurate engine timing during operation.
This tensioner helps address timing chain rattling and out-of-time conditions that can occur when an automatic tensioner fails. Its adjustable design also helps prevent excessive cam chain tension, which may contribute to premature engine wear associated with hydraulic tensioner operation. The billet aluminum construction provides a durable, precision-machined component for performance-oriented street and track applications.
Fitment includes 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012 Honda CBR600RR motorcycles. Professional installation and proper tension adjustment are recommended to support reliable timing chain operation. Verify motorcycle year and application before installation to ensure compatibility with the PSR 03-02003-29 cam chain tensioner.
