Improve timing chain control with the PSR Cam Chain Tensioner, part number 03-02002-29. CNC machined from durable billet aluminum, this adjustable-style replacement is designed to replace the factory automatic or hydraulic tensioner on select Honda performance applications. It provides a dependable solution for riders and builders addressing timing chain movement, tensioner failure, or unwanted chain noise.
The PSR tensioner helps prevent timing issues and timing chain rattling that may occur when an automatic tensioner fails. It also helps eliminate excessive chain tension associated with hydraulic tensioners, reducing the risk of premature engine wear. Its precision-machined construction supports reliable installation and long-term service in demanding riding conditions.
Fitment includes 2007–2009 and 2012–2014 Honda TRX450ER Electric Start models, along with 2004–2007 Honda CRF450R models. Verify your exact year, model, engine configuration, and existing tensioner design before installation. Professional installation and proper cam chain adjustment are recommended to ensure correct timing and engine operation.
