The ProTaper Race Spec (RS) front sprocket, model 038383, is a 13-tooth powersports sprocket designed for select KTM 65 SX applications from 1998 through 2007. It is CNC machined and internally broached to precise tolerances for accurate fitment, balanced performance, and reduced chain drag.
Manufactured from case-hardened, core-refined 655M13 nickel-chrome-molybdenum alloy steel, this front sprocket is engineered for strength and wear resistance. A proprietary coating helps reduce wear and corrosion, while self-cleaning mud grooves help prevent dirt buildup during use. Lightening holes reduce rotating weight.
Fitment includes the 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007 KTM 65 SX. The manufacturer part number is 038383, and the vendor part number is 606497.
