ProFilter 22-23 Honda CRF250R/CRF450R AFR-1003-05 Ready-To-Use Air Filter

A perfectly oiled ProFilter Air Filter provides maximum airflow and increased horsepower. Ready-to-Use Air Filters are constructed of dual-layer, reticulated foam. Reticulation is a process that opens up the foam cells, allowing for increased air flow and horsepower. The dual foam layers differ in foam pore size - the innermost foam consists of a denser foam to catch fine particles of sand and powder, whereas the outermost foam is constructed of a more open pore matrix allowing for filtration of larger micron dirt particles. The open porosity of the outer foam also helps the air filter resist plugging. Air filter seams are welded with industrial strength adhesive and all filters come with a rubber grommet to help secure the filter in place to the cage, eliminating tearing and keeping the structural integrity of the filter intact. The ProFilter AFR-1003-05 Ready-To-Use Air Filter is designed for the 2022–2023 Honda CRF250R and CRF450R. This pre-oiled powersports air filter uses Maxima's FFT (Foam Filter Treatment) and a dual-stage, open-cell foam matrix to support airflow while filtering dirt and fine particles.

The outer foam layer uses a more open pore structure to help filter larger dirt particles and resist plugging, while the denser inner layer is designed to capture finer sand and powder. Welded seams use industrial-strength adhesive, and a rubber grommet helps secure the filter to the cage while supporting the filter's structural integrity. The filter also features plush 13mm sealing foam.
