The Outwears ATV Pre-Filter, Part Number 20-2446-01, is designed for use with K&N PL-5004 and PL-5008 air filters. This protective pre-filter helps reduce the amount of sand, dirt, clay, and water reaching the primary air filter while supporting consistent airflow for off-road riding and utility vehicle use. Dyno and flow bench testing has shown no significant horsepower or air-intake loss when using this product.
Made from silicone-impregnated micro-mesh, the Outwears pre-filter provides water-resistant protection in demanding riding conditions. The material uses uniform micron-sized openings to filter particles as small as .005 inches without noticeable airflow restriction. Dielectrically welded seams help provide a durable, secure construction for repeated use in dusty, muddy, and wet environments.
Fitment includes the 2006–2009 Polaris Ranger 700 6X6, 2008–2009 Polaris Ranger Crew 700 4x4, 2009 Polaris Ranger 700 HD, and 2005–2007 Polaris Ranger XP 700. Verify the installed air filter model and vehicle application before ordering. Manufactured by Outwears and identified by manufacturer and vendor part number 20-2446-01, this pre-filter is a practical addition to the intake system for riders seeking added filter protection without compromising normal engine airflow.
