Protect your ATV air filter with the Outwears ATV Pre-Filter, designed for use with K&N AC-4096-1 air filters. Part number 20-1401-01 helps provide an additional layer of protection against sand, dirt, clay, and water while supporting consistent airflow to the engine. Silicone-impregnated micro-mesh construction is water resistant and built for demanding off-road conditions.
Dyno and flow bench testing has shown no significant horsepower loss or noticeable restriction when using this pre-filter. The uniform micron-sized openings filter particles as small as .005 inches in diameter while allowing air to pass through efficiently. Dielectrically welded seams help create a durable, secure covering for the underlying air filter during trail riding and other powersports applications.
Fitment: Fits select Arctic Cat ATV models, including the 1997 and 1998 Arctic Cat 454 2x4, 1996 through 1998 Arctic Cat 454 4x4, 2000 through 2002 Arctic Cat 500 4x4 Auto, 2002 Arctic Cat 500 4x4 Auto TBX, and 1998 Arctic Cat 400 2x4.
