The OUTERWEARS Red ATV Pre-Filter is designed for use with K&N HA-3094 air filters and provides an added layer of protection in demanding off-road environments. Manufactured by OUTERWEARS, this pre-filter uses silicone-impregnated micro-mesh to help resist water while filtering unwanted contaminants before they reach the primary air filter. Manufacturer part number 20-1076-03 and vendor part number 25-5805R identify this red replacement pre-filter.
Uniform micron-sized openings allow air to pass through while helping block sand, dirt, clay, and water. The material filters particles as small as .005 inches in diameter without noticeable airflow restriction. Dyno and flow bench testing has shown no significant horsepower or air-intake loss when this product is used, making it a practical choice for maintaining airflow and additional engine protection during recreational or competitive riding.
Dielectrically welded seams help provide consistent construction and durability in dusty, wet, and rugged riding conditions. This pre-filter fits the K&N HA-3094 application for Can-Am DS 450 models from 2008 through 2012, including the 2010–2012 DS 450 XMX, the 2008 DS 450X, the 2009 DS 450 XXC, and the listed standard DS 450 model years. Verify the existing air-filter application before installation.
