The OUTERWEARS Black Pre-Filter is designed to fit RU-2990 air filters and help protect the intake system from sand, dirt, clay, and water. This replacement pre-filter uses silicone-impregnated micro-mesh material to provide water resistance while supporting consistent airflow during demanding riding conditions. Its uniform micron-sized openings allow air to pass through while filtering particles as small as .005 inches in diameter.
Dyno and flow bench testing has shown no significant horsepower loss or noticeable air intake restriction when using this product. The material is engineered to provide an added layer of protection without compromising the performance of the compatible air filter. Dielectrically welded seams help create a durable construction suitable for off-road use and repeated exposure to dust, moisture, and debris.
This black OUTERWEARS pre-filter fits the RU-2990 model and is compatible with 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2009 Suzuki LT-R450 Quadracer applications. Manufacturer part number 20-2250-01 and vendor part number 27-0222C identify this replacement pre-filter. Verify the air filter model and vehicle fitment before installation.
