The OUTERWEARS ATV Pre-Filter Universal R-1050 is designed to provide an additional layer of protection for compatible air filters in dusty, sandy, and wet riding environments. Finished in black, this pre-filter uses silicone-impregnated micro-mesh to help repel water while allowing the engine to receive the air it needs. Its uniform micron-sized openings help capture sand, dirt, clay, and other unwanted debris before they reach the primary air filter.

Dyno and flow bench testing has shown no significant horsepower or air-intake loss when using the OUTERWEARS Universal R-1050 pre-filter. The material filters particles as small as .005 inches in diameter without noticeable airflow restriction, helping support consistent engine performance during off-road use. Dielectrically welded seams provide a durable, secure construction for demanding riding conditions.

This black OUTERWEARS pre-filter fits select Kawasaki and Yamaha ATV applications, including the 1979 and 1980 Kawasaki KLX250; 2006 through 2009 Yamaha YFM700R Raptor; 2007 through 2009 Yamaha YFM700RSE Raptor SE; and the 2007 Yamaha YFM700RY Raptor GYTR Edition. Verify the vehicle model and year before installation. Manufacturer and vendor part number: OUTERWEARS 20-1010-01.
