The Outerwears ATV Pre-Filter Stock air filter cover is designed to provide an additional layer of protection for the air filtration system on select Yamaha YFM660R Raptor models. Part number 20-1229-01 is engineered for a stock-style fit and helps shield the underlying air filter from dust, dirt, sand, and other trail debris without replacing the motorcycle’s original airbox or filter assembly.
Constructed for powersports use, this Outerwears pre-filter helps reduce the amount of abrasive contamination reaching the primary air filter during off-road riding. Its protective design supports longer air filter service intervals and helps maintain consistent airflow in dusty or challenging environments. The cover is intended for riders who want added filtration protection while retaining the stock air intake configuration.
Fitment: Fits 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, and 2005 Yamaha YFM660R Raptor models. Verify the model year and stock airbox configuration before installation. This product is manufactured by Outerwears and is identified by manufacturer and vendor part number 20-1229-01.
